Through its ‘Digital Didi’ program, Bihar is training rural women in e-commerce, mobile banking, social media marketing, and online sales. Community centers across gram panchayats teach participants to market their crafts—pickles, papads, and handicrafts—online. Over 10,000 women have joined so far. The program aims to enhance female self-reliance and integrate women into the Digital India initiative by enabling them to monetize traditional skills digitally.
